I’ve lived a very nomadic life. My homes have included owned and rented, urban and rural, large and small, condos with no yards and houses with big yards, all over the country. And I’ve done it with as many as five animals at a time. Now, as a realtor, I help others to buy, sell and rent their homes. Many of them welcomed my suggestions on how to make moving into their new homes a Pet-Friendly Moving experience. So, I finally decided to share my experiences with a wider audience by writing Pet-Friendly Moving…all about finding or creating a pet-friendly home and how to move there.

Then I started this blog to encourage others to share their pet moving stories. There can never be enough helpful information about moving with pets. My inspiration started with my feline treasure, Cocoa, who holds the record for the most moves in our family, having lived in nine different homes by the time he was twelve. Interestingly, Cocoa was the mellowest of all my pets. I like to think that his serenity had something to do with what I’ve learned about moving with pets.
